Image analysis comparison of nerve staining by use of methylene blue, tissue marker, or food dye

      Introduction: Novel locoregional techniques require initial dye studies to confirm successful nerve targeting. Historically, these dyes have been subjectively chosen and staining grossly evaluated. The goal of this study was to objectively quantify and compare nerve staining quality using color saturation of dyes commonly reported in the literature.
