Injectate spread following ultrasound-guided lateral quadratus lumborum block in dogs: a cadaveric study

      Introduction: Quadratus lumborum block seeks to provide somatic and visceral abdominal analgesia. This study aims to investigate the spread characteristics of a dye solution after an ultrasound-guided injection on the lateral aspect of the quadratus lumborum (LQL) muscle using a transversal (LQL-T) or longitudinal (LQL-L) approach in eight canine cadavers.
